During 2010, a series of journeys with a 12-foot wooden cross are being undertaken by Harvest Christian Fellowship across Guernsey County in order to draw attention to Christ, inspire hope, and release prayer throughout our region. All who would like to join us for prayer, witnessing, walking and helping to carry the cross are welcome and encouraged to join in anywhere they’d like along the way!

Dress appropriate to the weather. Be sure to have a good pair of walking shoes!

A small backpack for a water bottle (supplied by you) and possible tracts or Bibles (supplied by HCF) is recommended!

A reflective neon vest that can go over your clothes/jacket is recommended. (Available for purchase at Walmart).

We will spend time in each village along the way praying for God’s blessing to be poured out on our region. While walking, we will engage in intercession, encouragement, witnessing, worship and more as God leads us.

NEXT EVENT: Sat., March 20 (Alternate date of March 27 in the event of inclement weather).
7:00 am: Meet at Harvest Christian Fellowship, drive to Quaker City area.
7:40 am: Meet up with other potential walkers. Walk begins just south of Quaker City on 513 at the county line. Travel 1.9 miles
8:20 am: Arrive in Quaker City, corner of 513 and 265. Travel 2.2 miles
9:15 am: Arrive in Salesville, near Salesville United Methodist Church on 265. Travel 2.6 miles
10:15 am: Arrive at convenience store between Salesville and Lore City on 265. Travel 4.3 miles
12:15 pm: Arrive in Lore City (Community Park) - Lunch.
1:00 pm: Depart Lore City, begin the Great Guernsey Trail. Travel 2.9 miles
2:10 pm: Arrive in Kipling via the Guernsey Trail. Travel 4.5 miles
4:00 pm: Arrive in Cambridge, corner of Ohio Avenue and Byesville Road. Continue on North Ave, then Woodlawn Ave to Wheeling avenue. Travel 2 miles
4:45 pm: Arrive Guernsey County Courthouse, Wheeling Ave, Cambridge. Continue toward church via 40. Travel 3 miles
6:00 pm: Arrive Harvest Christian Fellowship, 6060 Glenn Hwy, Cambridge.
Total: 23+ miles
